Misc Issue flashing a GBC cart with FlashGBX

I got a GBC cart flasher (this one https://shop.insidegadgets.com/product/gbxcart-rw/ ) and a "copy" of pokemon off ebay so I could get a reflashable cart. I am able to extract roms from the device and work with their saves. but I cannot reflash the cart. I keep getting CFI ERROR: Couldn't retrieve sector size map from the cartridge. it then waits 60 seconds to then error out saying erasing the flash chip timed out.

not sure what to do. I thought the clone carts on ebay were supposed to be flashable given their nature.

did you read the thread about that flash card readers and carts, you get a ROM cart not a flasheable one, search the already open thread for that issue.

The cart tool might not support the flash chip on your reproduction cart.

I'd open the cart and take a look at what the flash chip is.

Check the list for your flash chip once you do.
