Hacking Restore Different ROM on Another Cartridge?

Is there a way I could restore an Animal Crossing: Wild World ROM onto a random NDS cartridge?
I figure I could get the Moving Van on Animal Crossing: City Folk to work this way.

Nope. Cartridges use Read Only Memory, so you can't overwrite it.

Nope, only option is to buy AC:WW and transfer your SAV file to it.

Oh one more question.
Let's say I restore a 256KB save instead of a 512KB save, would it still be able to load the save and run properly?

I don't think so. Only option you have is to convert your Gamesave with a gamesave conerter:

shunyweb.info is one of those.

lol I'm such a fool. I had a 512KB save all along.

The retail cart utilizes a 256KB SAV slot. Most utilities, like those by Rudolph, will restore the 512KB SAV file used by most game cards with no problem.
