I can play DosBox86 emulators and play Indiana Jones the last Crusade graphical adventure on my DS Fat original,
but never knew of any more modern PC emulators that ever came out for the DS's...
I just got myself a 3DS one week ago, finally...
but yet I still love to play DosBox86 on my might old DS FAt and the 4Gb Xtreme flashcard... or EZ-Flashcard with GBA port actually for
GBA emulators (Stella Ds runs great)
I would like to run some shitty PC games like Jurassic Park: Trespassor...
I also have many, many other old PC games I would like to play these days, like the
original Call to power, or Black and White, that I can still play on Windows PC with PCem running full Win Xp...
I recall there was at some point somenoe that had Win XP run on a DS ages ago...
but never dwelled at the into it because I had a working Pentium machine with 3DVoodoo FX graphics to run those games...
Also something that could work on the 3DS or the DSi would be great...
I just have zero experience on the 3DS...

Any help would be great.

Don't expect much from a ds, even a 3ds for PC games from the late 90s, you can get good results for DOS games from the 80s and early 90s with ScummVM DS and DSx86

A PC that can run Jurassic Park Trespasser should be way faster than a DS.
The same happens with most if not all PCs with a Voodoo card.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
