Homebrew Will games patch for 'WiiLoader' work on modded Wii's as w

If I patch a game to use with the BackupLoader, will the same patched disc also work on a friend's modded Wii?

Also, if I backup a disc from the Wii to my PC (via WiFi), if I choose DVD5 and the game's actually a DVD9, will it let me know?

first question: definitely no.
second question: 95% sure its a no, cuz I can try to rip a wii game as a gc game and it will go right ahead and create a bad iso, there are only 2 DL games out though:
-Smash Bros
-Some weird Japanese Sega game
