It's the same with every pack you have to trust it or not to trust it and install with another app I think dop-ios mod can do this from the HBC

It's confusing, the guide which contains this pack is here and it's very popular, so Í considering that will be ok, no ?

OMG, The witch hunt is back

huh? 1) this isn't a PACK, its a list of apps that will brick u, nowhere does it offer a download pack for all these dangerous apps

2) the guide doesn't contain this 'pack'

No, no.. You have a guide where you have to write an email and it send you the pack which go with the guide, ok !!!!

And in one of theses guides, you have a pack which contain a wad --- > IOS60-patched.wad

So my question, is it safe to use this wad ???

yes it is safe to install that wad, it is not safe to install IOS60 v6400 which is the stub IOS (unless you're NOT on 4.0 or 4.1, but just dont do it 2 be on the safe side anyways). It's easy to spot a stub IOS, they're only a fraction of the size of a typically IOS.

Quick question, im on 4.2 right now. I used Wan's when it just came out. Now when i got the new HBC when it first came out, i had to install a few things to prevent HBC from being upside down, as well as being able to keep my backups. I don't recall what i installed in terms of IOS 60. :\ If i were to eventually update to 4.3 or higher via a "safer updater" am i at risk of a brick ? If so, is there a way to check what ios60 i have and get rid of it if it will possibly brick ? Thank you.

best way to not install stub is to use dop-ios mod v9....best app ever...upgraded 2 wiis from 3.2 and 3.4 to 4.1 in no time... just have to make sure to have ios60 installed before installing system menu 4.1

even used it to install latest shop channel, you cant go wrong with that

i've used the wani's 4.0 updater a couple of times in the past month or so....and no problems going from 3.3 or 3.4...no bricks. so it just might only be the 4.1 updater thats no good

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
