i found a bunch of mii characters to download onto the wii, with celebrities, pop culture, etc, so people can pick fun characters while they bowl. is there a site i can download mii characters for wii u, and if so, how can i install them on the wii u? i'd rather not have to make a bunch 1 by 1. thanks.

If you're looking at Miis from a site that includes QR codes alongside each one (say from a site like miicharacters.com) then you can scan in any Mii character you want to download with the scan QR code option. Now the Wii U only has a front facing camera so this can be a little awkward, but still totally doable without having to create each Mii one-by-one. Or, if you have a 3DS (or 2DS), you can do the same thing there but with the back facing camera which is far less awkward, and then on the Wii U, you can wirelessly transfer over all the Miis you put on your 3DS. I know Miitomo on smartphones used to let you scan Miis too, but I'm not sure if you could transfer those Miis to the Wii U or not, and even if you can, I'm not sure if Miitomo is even able to be used anymore, pretty sure it's completely dead; but potentially that might be a way to transfer Miis as well to Wii U after scanning them in. So you have a few routes you could go here, they all hinge on scanning QR codes though.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
