I lurked around 2002 ish but it took me a while to make an account. Idk why. Busy I guess.
I'm in the same boat. I was a teenager when I found this site. I've lurked far more than I've posted. This place has just been a kind of "default" for me whenever I look for game chat.
Looks like I'm around that 20 year mark as well... yikes, time flyin'.

I'm coming to terms with getting older, but I love seeing these old pages. Ancient Yahoo! pages with all the different subsections is a real treat. Reminds me of the full-page McDonalds ad IGN did back in the day. (Am I remembering that right? Like, McGriddles all over the main page and all that?)Not as nostalgic, but it's something.
Seeing it kinda hurts.
I remember seeing the Netscape browser everywhere advertised for download, but I always stuck with Internet Explorer 6. lol
Oh, and MSN Messenger was so cool to chat with people around the world. Social media (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube) just isn't the same.

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.

Mostly for big purchases, I want it in my hands before I pay. Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc) But yea if I can order online, then pickup at store is ok, but not all places offer that.

Thing is, if you break it driving back to your house, it's your fault. But if the delivery driver damages it, it's not your fault. -
