Im on SM 4.1U with the new BootMii 0.5 and HBC 1.0.5 (installed from HBC 1.0.4 through the HackMii installer)

Lothlorian said:That said I decided to bite the bullet and install this. It does work as advertised. I updated HBC, Bootmii, DVDX. Installed System Menu 4.1 Wad downloaded from NUS Downloader. Used dop-IOS v8 to install IOS60. Then Installed this version of pre-loader.

I need to do the same, update HBC and redo the whole preloader install again as well.
Question Lothlorian - why did you use dop-IOS to download IOS60 and install and not just use NUS to download and then WAD-Manager to do it? or will that break it?
Did you apply any trucha bug to IOS60 using dop-IOS?
Before re-installing does preloader need IOS60 to have the ES_DIVerfiy function patched or will the preloader install take care of this?
Preloader 0.29 guide
Says you can uninstall using preloader using NandClean, if it best to uninstall and re-install again?
I only just upgraded to 4.1e and installed preloader about 3 days before 4.2 come out.
Thanks
Lothlorian said:I don't like messing or Cleaning my Nand unless I have to (I don't in this case) Reinstalling System Menu will get rid of pre-loader.
I always keep reading, never play around with your system menu, quickest way to brick your wii....... Its that fear factor because I have never done it before, playing around with the system menu and IOS...
wouldn't worry me if I had bootmii as boot2 but I can't.
Even NUS says this when I get 4.1E system menu 450.
QUOTEThe System Menu is a critical part of the Wii boot sequence, and failure to install a proper WAD, failure to install its corresponding IOS module, and many other factors can cause a brick. The only safe way to mess with the System Menu is with BootMii boot2 installed.
