Suggestion Disable post merge for Meme Box and Funny Pictures threads

I've got more dumb content to share, can't continually be waiting for someone else to post first

(Meme Box thread specifically requires only one image per post to work in the actual meme box, I know it's possible to have more than one image per post in the funny pictures thread but then how do I know which pic earned someone's reacc? )

I mean, the merge function was added for a reason (decrease spamming etc), it was re-added after the site upgrade, I'm not trying to argue against the whole feature that the admins clearly want in place - just requesting for those two threads specifically because of their content.

These settings are per-forum, so we would have to disable this for the entire EOF.
And to be honest the EOF is the place where it's needed the most

Hm. I guess the solution here would be to make a small separate sister-forum for just those two threads.. I know, it sounds stupid, but it would be nice. Hell, maybe a meme box forum could allow for more sorting? Like a thread for regular memes, one for game memes, and one for site in-jokes maybe.
